Dear Apocalypse,
Observing the bizarre current affairs, like GOI finally giving Capital Punishment to the “National Guest” Kasab and “Son of Sardaar” joining The Famous 100 Cr Club, you must have become sure of what Mayans firmly declared before some 4500 Years ago. Because, YOLO must stand true for human civilization too, right ?
But Wait. You may have destroyed Ancient Civilizations and Species of those Gorgeous Gigantic Dinosaurs with your “Oh-My-God-This-is-God-Damn-Spielberg-Movie” kind of effects and techniques, You my dear Friend, are on all together different pitch this time. Let me make you aware by some of the facts.
Let me start with the Major ones. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is not yet retired. Enough said. Salman Khan is not yet married. Afzal Guru is still waiting for “The Final call”. Congress is yet to win in Gujarat. Our much touted Future PM, Rahul Gandhi is yet to take “Important Role” in the Government. Those astounding 1,00,000,000 Billion Cr Rupees from Swiss Banks is yet to be recovered so that we can enjoy our lives without paying a single rupee of tax . Even Lokpaal bill is yet to be passed, man. Wait, there is more. We are yet to see Mumbai being converted into Shanghai. A Bollywood Movie is yet to win an Oscar. We are yet to witness triumphant win of India at Olympics .Sorry, that’s not possible now perhaps. The real taste of Freedom is yet to be tasted by Girls of Gurgaon. Hell, Even Freedom is yet to be seen by our 54 War Heroes who are being mercilessly tortured in Jails of Pakistan since last 43 Years. And you just want to come here, show your Charisma to us and Blow us off? Bitch Please!!
Actually, We have seen the Apocalypse already. In the streets of India, during Communal Riots when two strangers used to stab each other without any logical reason just because they were from different religion. When world’s purest form of Human Existence, the mother, abandoned her child on the moment it took birth just because she didn’t want to take the responsibility of the baby. When Hundreds of people became handicapped watching helplessly while a mob of monsters raped an 18 year Old Girl. When Our Politicians openly looted us and we sent the same people again there so they can complete the remaining loot.
But How does these things matter to us. Not by any direct way. We are getting our food every day and we are having good sleep every night. So till the moment we ourselves are happy and safe, no God damn Apocalypse can touch us. That’s the Power of us.
Sorry Apocalypse, You have to wait.
